Description
Japanese premium set of gold plates by Yamanaka, 5 pcs. An authentic collectible masterpiece — a complete set of 5 plates for desserts and Meimei-zara (銘々皿) tea ceremonies. A truly authentic exclusive, straight from Japan (Ishikawa Prefecture). Made using the legendary Yamanaka-nuri lacquerware technique (Yamanaka Lacquerware). This is not mass-produced factory ware, but premium craftsmanship with a centuries-old history, highly prized by collectors around the world. What makes this lot unique and valuable: Precious Kaga gold leaf: The original certificate insert confirms authentic Kaga Kinpaku Kogei craftsmanship (加賀金箔工芸). This famous Japanese gold of impeccable purity comes from the city of Kanazawa and has a deep, “fiery,” noble luster. Hand-painted designs (Shugaki): The set belongs to the limited “Wildflowers” series (野の花絵変り). Artisans hand-painted minimalist field-grass designs over the gold. The motifs do not repeat, making each of the 5 plates unique. Practical, durable construction: The plates are made from high-quality Japanese composite lacquer (a blend of finely ground natural wood flour and polymer). Unlike solid wood, this material lasts indefinitely in our homes: it is completely moisture-resistant, does not dry out, and will not crack from dry air during the winter heating season. Perfect collectible condition: The front shines with its original golden luster. The reverse is coated in deep, regal dark red urethane lacquer and is in immaculate, mirror-like condition — no chips, cracks, or signs of use. Elegant dessert size: 14 cm in diameter — a delicate, quintessentially Japanese size for individual sweets, candies, fruit, or fine cheeses served with tea. Museum-quality presentation: The set comes in its original authentic paulownia wood box (tomobako). This wood has been used in Japan for centuries to store antiques because it “breathes” and protects valuables from dampness. The lid bears the artisan’s original calligraphic signature. All factory certificates and packing paper have been preserved. Price - 9900 ₽ Buy through 🔗 AVITO (if the link won't open, turn off VPN) Buy/ask 📩
