Privacy
What data we receive, why we need it and how to delete it.
What data we receive
From Telegram when you sign in: your account ID, name, username, profile photo and language. From the website and the app: your IP address, which pages were opened and when, and the city you selected. A name and photo, if you have set them for the website yourself. Ads, articles and comments that you publish yourself. Your precise location only if you tap “Use my location” yourself, and only to find your city.
Why
So that signing in works, ads are published and shown, notifications and new ads from your alerts reach you, and so that we can understand what works well in the service and what does not.
Cookies and analytics
The website stores your selected city, theme and feed layout in your browser, so that the page opens just as you left it. For visit statistics we use Yandex Metrica, including the recording of on-page activity (Webvisor). Your name and Telegram account are not passed to Metrica.
Who we share it with
We do not sell data to anyone. We share it only where the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of users, and with contractors without whom the service cannot run (hosting, photo storage, payments in Telegram).
How long we keep it
For as long as you use Union and a reasonable time afterwards. You can delete your account and all your ads in your profile settings, but please note that this cannot be undone.
Questions and data deletion
Write to [email protected] or to support in Telegram: we will reply and, on request, delete your data.
If you have questions, contact support: @unionapp_team on Telegram or [email protected].
