This course will help you understand how the French business system works, which legal and tax decisions you will need to make, and what obligations arise after registration. No prior knowledge of French law, taxes, or accounting is required. The material is explained in accessible language, with practical examples and exercises. The course focuses on setting up a business, not on preparing an individual immigration file. Who is the course for? • Foreign nationals planning to start a business or work independently in France. • Talent-category applicants who need to understand the business and tax environment. • New sole proprietors and founders of French companies who want to understand their main obligations. What participants will learn • Distinguish between the main types of business activities and understand the role of French authorities. • Compare EI, micro-entreprise, EURL, SARL, SASU, and SAS, taking into account taxes, liability, and the manager’s social status. • Understand the difference between revenue, profit, and cash, as well as the basics of VAT, taxes, and social contributions. • Identify the main steps for registering a business and create a personal checklist of required actions for the first 90 days.
