Booking systems have begun offering Aeroflot tickets from Moscow to the Seychelles island of Mahé at a reduced price. A direct flight on November 4 can be had for 20,600 rubles, including checked baggage. Such offers are available through some ticket agents, while on Aeroflot's own website the price is almost twice as high.
Apparently, the discount is linked to a sale, shortly before departure, of tickets from the allocation of the tour operator Biblio-Globus, a partner of the airline. The cheapest return ticket, for November 18, will cost 45,300 rubles. Thus, a two-week trip will cost 65,900 rubles, which is 13,300 rubles less than buying directly from the carrier.
There is also an option for those planning to stay longer: a round trip for 42,000 rubles, departing November 4 and returning to Moscow almost two months later, on December 28. Russian citizens may stay in the Seychelles without a visa for up to 30 days. For a longer stay, one must apply to the local immigration service.
