In Tbilisi, 6,400 subscribers will be temporarily without natural gas due to the reconstruction of a gas pipeline. As the gas distribution company Tbilisi Energy reported, the outage will affect residents and institutions in the Varketili and Vazisubani districts.
The gas supply will be cut off on Monday, November 2, at 22:00. Restoration will begin the next day, Tuesday, from 11:00. The company expects to fully restore gas supply by 20:00 on November 3.
During the work, not only residential buildings but also commercial premises and three schools will be without gas. Tbilisi Energy asks residents to make sure the gas taps in their apartments are closed. If you smell gas, call the emergency service at 114 or the hotline at +995 32 240 40 04.
