The interactive teaser P.T., created in 2014 by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro for the cancelled game Silent Hills, has received an unofficial version for personal computers. The original teaser was available for free on PlayStation 4 consoles, but it was removed after the game was cancelled, and many people did not get the chance to play it.

The port was created by programmer Lorean Xavier. On his GitHub page, a platform for developers, he explained that it is not an emulation of the console version. The game was rebuilt in the C++ programming language based on the architecture of the original, and the graphics engine was written using Vulkan technology. Running it requires files from the original PS4 version — the program loads levels, models, sounds and scripts from them. According to the developer, he worked on the project in his spare time, because he believes that "P.T. deserves to exist beyond the confines of consoles."

Xavier added features that take advantage of modern computers. The version supports the AMD FSR 3.1, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 and Intel XeSS image upscaling technologies, as well as frame generation on Radeon RX 5000 series and newer graphics cards and NVIDIA RTX 40 series and newer.

Other new additions include a photo mode, a free camera, a timer for speedruns, and a "museum" with game content. In addition, the port features an experimental third-person view and support for virtual reality headsets via the OpenXR standard.
