Vietnamese airline Vietjet Air has opened charter flights from Yekaterinburg to the resorts of Vietnam. According to the press service of Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg, the first destination is the island of Phu Quoc.
Flights to Phu Quoc and, from November 1, to Nha Trang will operate twice every 10–11 days throughout the winter season. The wide-body Airbus A330-300, capable of carrying almost 380 passengers, will fly Ural tourists to the island of Phu Quoc.
The launch of direct flights will allow residents of the Urals to fly to Vietnamese resorts without a connection in Moscow.
