A team from the development laboratory in the Armenian city of Gyumri won the titles of world and European champions at the World Robotics Olympiad. The international open championship took place in Zagreb, Croatia, and brought together about 250 teams from various countries.

The winners in the senior age group, in the "Future Innovators" category, were Silvi Khachatryan, Elen Khachatryan and David Petrosyan. The team members are 15 and 16 years old, and their mentor is Ashot Zilfimyan.

The students developed a scanning robot that helps people with visual impairments or reading difficulties. The device digitizes printed publications and automatically converts the text into speech, video or a slideshow, making education more accessible.
