Thai Nguyen Province is known not only for its tea plantations but also for its rich history. The organisers intend the language of rock music to bring together historical traditions with the energy of youth and the drive towards development.

The concert programme is divided into three parts. The first, "Origins of the Vietnamese Land", is devoted to revolutionary and patriotic songs in modern rock arrangements. The second part, "Thai Nguyen: Youth, Radiance, Forward Aspiration", will feature performances by stars of Vietnamese pop music, among them Hồ Ngọc Hà, Isaac and Anh Tú. The third part will be the climax of the evening: the rock group "Ngu Cung" will take the stage, known for combining rock with the folk music of northern Vietnam.

The concert's general director, Nguyễn Trung Dũng, said the event is aimed at the broadest possible audience. Roughly half of the programme will be rock music, and the rest pop rock and pop. Such a balance, he said, will preserve the energy of a rock concert while making it accessible to spectators of different ages and musical tastes.

We did not set out to create an evening only for rock lovers. We want to use rock as the main language, combining it with pop rock and pop music, in order to attract a wide audience.

— Nguyễn Trung Dũng, general director of the concert

The concert in Thai Nguyen continues a series of major musical events. A day earlier, on November 1, the concert "Proud to Be Vietnamese" took place at the same stadium.
