— Kakha Kaladze, Mayor of Tbilisi
The program includes master classes on baking and seminars on the history and traditions of Georgian cuisine. Kakha Kaladze added that the festival will also give attention to contemporary gastronomy: cooks will present traditional Georgian flavors in a new interpretation.
The mayor of Tbilisi noted that this is the first time such a festival has been held in the capital, and expressed confidence that it will become an annual event.
