Two watermelon sellers
Boba and Schulz both sell watermelons at the market. Boba’s watermelon weighs 3 kg and costs 30,000 dong. Schulz’s are twice as heavy and cost 40,000. Lucky needs 12 kg of watermelon. How much will he save with the cheaper seller?
Answer: 40,000 dong. From Boba, 12 kg is four watermelons, 120,000. Schulz’s watermelon weighs 6 kg, so two are needed, 80,000. The difference is 40,000.
